AVRT WTFNB Ride: Paradise Loop

Ride leader: Sam Dewees

Meet: Sunday, August 30, 2026, 9:00am at the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. We’ll roll out around 9:10am.

Pace: Moderate endurance pace, but riders are welcome to ride at a faster pace and wait for the group at the regroup points. This ride is focused on women but chill men can come; just be aware to not influence the group’s pace.

Stops: Since this ride is on the shorter end, we will have one coffee/food stop at Equator Coffee in Tam Junction towards the end of the ride for those who’d like to join.

Well folks, the day has finally arrived—I turned 30 this week so I thought we could do a little birthday ride to celebrate! Unfortunately, I’ve been recovering from Achilles tendonitis over the past few weeks, so we will be doing a shorter, less climb-y route at an endurance “birthday” pace. :)

We’ll roll from the Welcome Center across the Golden Gate Bridge and descend into Sausalito. Then, we’ll take the Sausalito bike path and ride to Tiburon. If needed, we can regroup in downtown Tiburon outside Caffe Acri. We’ll then continue along Paradise Loop which winds around the Tiburon peninsula up to Larkspur. We’ll take the Larkspur bike path bath through Corte Madera, climb the backside of Camino Alto, and descend into Mill Valley. From there, we’ll ride to Equator in Tam Junction for coffee and/or food. Afterwards, we’ll return to the Welcome Center via the Sausalito bike path and the bridge.

WTFNB rides are subject to Alto Velo's Ride Rules and all participants must sign an annual waiver.
