Nutrition: Pre-race fruit and a Coke provided by the race promoter. Plain water during the race.

Recap (written by Paul):

Large field of 53 starters including 7 Alto Velo boys. The plan was to keep it together or cover moves that made sense and then keep the last few laps fast and let George go for it in the end. We took turns responding to moves, none of which stuck. In the meantime Adam took two $10 primes.

Unfortunately, our designated sprinter, George, crashed out with 4 or 5 to go (luckily he was the only person that went down) and the rest of us weren't really sure what to do then. Big messy bunch finishes aren’t my favorite, but I tried to stay up there in the end and got 10th.
