AV-C 2/28/26 - Westridge, Christal Springs, Belmont, Hastings, Crestview & Palomar

Ed & I are feeling a little on the knackered side so we will need your help with keeping us together. This route has some twists & turns (what else would you expect from me?) Please download the route. I don’t want to threaten my wife’s dog again. hehehe.
We will head through Stanford, up Alpine for our first climb - Westridge. Up & over to Portola Rd. North on Portola & Canada, past 92, Skyline (not the bike path as there is lots of foot traffic on weekends) to Christale Springs Rd.
We will be riding roads the somewhat parallel Polhemas & bypass much of Crestview by Heading down Christal Springs, right on Polhemas, 1st left on Ascension Dr. (Hint Hint)
Next is Rainbow, Lakeshore, Bel Air, Laurie, Parrott, W Hillsdale, Ferwood & Right on Alameda De Las Plugs for about 0.5 mi.
Right on Cipriani, Continental, Lyall, lake, Carlmont, Right on Hastings,(the hardest climb of the day) Right on Club, Left on Crestview & Stop @ Cresview Park
From Crestview park down the hill taking a left on La Mess. This is where we start the Palomar section.
Right on Pebble, through the gate & on to Palomar all the way down to Edgwood.
Left on Cordilleras, Canyon, Farmhill, Fireside, Alameda De Las Plugs, through the Sharion Hight neighborhood, San Hill, Stanford & finish a Shake Shake.

Alto Velo welcomes non-members to join us on our rides. However, non-members must have a Waiver on file with the club.
The AV C Ride offers a more moderate workout than the other Alto Velo rides (although a workout it is). Group riding skills & communication in a supportive controlled peloton are emphasized. When not on designated climbs, we aim to keep the group together.
