Nutrition: Pre-race mini Coca-Cola, plain water during the race

Recap (written by Paul Levy): Mid pack finish for me in the end, but I was able to nab two primes towards the middle of the race, $25 cash and a handlebar bag. I went for more of a long attack each time and wasn’t really contested for either. I got a pretty big gap on the field for the second one and Will Brickler of Dolce Vita and then David Wild of Super Squadra bridged up. We almost had a nice three-man break going but I was pretty gassed from going for primes and was back out of the break about as soon as it fully formed. Will and David almost stayed away, only getting caught in the last few turns. I spent the rest of the race trying to recover and never quite got back to the front again.
