LHR Thursday 5/8/25 (route #19) State time adjustment to 5:30pm
In an attempt to increase interest and that the sun is setting a bit later the LHR we be starting @ 5:30.
Come join the Low Heart Rate (LHR) ride.
A perfect ride for some low intensity miles, Get to know other AV riders & work on your group riding skills. The pace will be approximately 15 mph on flat roads.
New riders are welcomed and encouraged!
NOTES: NEW Summer hours start time @ 5:30 pm!!!
I will be out of country May 16 & 23. If I could get a volunteer to post & lead the LHR ride that will be appreciated. Also I will not be able to lead this Thursday’s ride. One of the “yet to be named” regulars will perform the duties.
The route is a twist on our usual southbound Los Altos Hills to Rancho San Antonio

The AV LHR Ride offers a Low Heart Rate/recovery ride at a moderate pace compared to other Alto Velo rides. Group riding skills & communication in a supportive controlled peloton are emphasized. We aim to keep the group together throughout the entire ride.
