Egan 2026.23 Results:
Despite being the supposed least favorite route (maybe its a love-hate relationship), Robin Betz took the top GC spot for the women with 2 PRs while Matin Massoudi took the top spot for the men with 2 PRs and 2 top-10s! Riders of the day were Nick Dorn with 8 PRs and Francesca Li with 6 PRs!

Egan 2026.24 Announcement:
For a bit of a change-up, we will be chasing wheels this week, not reaching for our low gears. In the spirit of this route, the average segment gradient is listed next to all the segments below. The time-weighted average is just under 6%, coming in at 5.8%! And yet, somehow, the route is still over the standard 100ft/mi ratio :)

What: The Egan Ride meets at the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce parking lot every Tuesday at 6:00pm and leaves at 6:05. We regroup and recover after every climb; if you can do OLH in under 25 minutes you should have no problem keeping up with the A group (the B and women’s group have no OLH recommendations, just come join!).

How: Remember, pace yourself appropriately, there's lots of hills to climb! Pay attention to traffic and don't hog the road. Riders are encouraged to wear garishly colored socks on the Egan Ride, and riders are discouraged from riding Egan if they wear conservative socks.
