Alto Velo C Ride - April 26th, 2025 - Saratoga / Steven Canyon Hills

Hi All

Picking routes for Saturdays can sometimes be tough. The weather forecast is not great with possible rain / thunder at 12 noon. Additionally, I was on Skyline yesterday afternoon and it was 42 degrees at Saratoga Gap and 47 at Sky Londa. I don’t know about you, but my body has moved onto summer and was not dealing well with the cool (cold?) temperatures. All these factors go into the decision for which route to plan. We will stay relatively low. We will not venture too far from home. We will end the ride at Shake Shack. We will attempt to avoid the coolest temperatures of high skyline. We will be headed home by 12 noon to avoid the weather should it move in. We will get free drinks.

Alto Velo welcomes non-members to join us on our rides. However, non-members must have a Waiver on file with the club.

The AV C Ride offers a more moderate workout than the other Alto Velo rides (although a workout it is). Group riding skills & communication in a supportive controlled peloton are emphasized. When not on designated climbs, we aim to keep the group together.
