AV-B Ride Aug 23rd: Page Mill, Skyline, Cañada, Crestview
AV-Ber’s,
It was stupid hot this week, right? Well, Saturday it’s going to be “sunny with a high of 75”!! So let’s ride, y’all!!
This weekend we will be doing Page Mill in “one part”! I would like to go for a PR myself so we will take Alpine to Golden Oak and warm the legs up there. Then we will take Arastradero over to Page Mill. Anyone else who would like to give Page Mill the beans is welcome to push up with me, but I encourage everyone to climb at whatever pace they like and we will regroup at Skyline before continuing!
We will ride north on Skyline and stop at Sky Londa for water before heading down 84 and towards Woodside. Cañada takes us to Edgewood, which takes us to Crestview. I’ve never gone up Crestview and I figured the best time to suffer up this short but steep beast is when I can recruit a bunch of friends to suffer up it with me! We can do it. It’s only a mile.
After regrouping at the top we get to enjoy rolling across the ridge and then take the Ralston Bike trail down and over 280 (yes there’s a bike trail OVER 280!). Then we take Cañada all the way back. Looking forward to seeing everyone and hopefully getting a few people to give Page Mill a push! Just trying to get us all in shape for Ultra Low Key Hill Climbs 2026…
Non-members are always welcome, but please complete the waiver once a year.
Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the ride rules as well.
