AV-B Ride Aug 1st: Another Weird Kessler Route

It feels like a good weekend to stay in the foothills. Eh? So get fueled, hydrated, and don’t you dare be on the front of this ride if you don’t have the route downloaded because there will be turnssss.
We will take Sand Hill to Whiskey Hill and our first regroup will be at the top of West Maple. We will descend the Emeralds, take Edgewood back over to Cañada, and our next regroup will be at Sawyer Camp Trailhead. Be very careful turning onto Hwy 92! We will take Crystal Springs to Alameda de las Pulgas and do a short climb or two people haven’t done! After turning up Ralston and left at Hallmark we will regroup at Waterdog Trailhead where there’s water. Then we cross Crestview, crest Edgewood again, take Cañada to Olive Hill, take Tripp to 84, and have our last regroup at Portola Valley Town Center. To finish we will climb Westridge, then take Arastradero to Page Mill and climb the Egan segment from the bottom of Foothill Park to the view at the top! There’s lots of options to turn off this route and do you’re own thing or extend it!
I’m excited to see everyone and ride WITH EVERYONE. I will not be attacking any segments and I look forward to climbing at rates everyone likes for themselves and riding at a comfortable speed for everyone on the flats! The route goes back to the shop but I could be tempted to ride to Bici Coffee instead…. let’s talk.
