To join or renew your membership with the Alto Velo
Bicycle
Racing Club for the calendar year 2010, complete the 2010 membership form, which is
available to download in PDF format. The membership form is
suitable for both new and renewing members.
Membership is on a calendar year basis. Membership opens in
September for the succeeding year, and members who have not renewed are
deleted from the rolls in May. Since membership opens for the
following year in September and clothing orders for a year close in
June, there is little to be gained by joining Alto Velo in July or
August. If you are considering joining during the summer, you
should probably wait and join in September for the next year. All of
our rides and meetings are open to the public, so
you may participate in club activities before joining
Please follow the directions that are shown below. Note:
Your signature is required to complete the membership application
and you will need to download the membership application and sign
the liability waiver at the bottom of the application form.
If you are a minor and wish to join the Webcor/Alto Velo club you must
complete the Minor Waiver and it must
be signed by a parent or guardian.
- Download the PDF 2010 membership form. You may fill
in the form online within Adobe Acrobat Reader (v. 5 or
later) if you like. Or print out a
hard copy of the PDF and fill it all out manually.
- Complete the form (either online or by
hand) and be sure to sign the liability waiver printed at the bottom of the form.
THE ENTIRE WAIVER AND YOUR SIGNATURE MUST APPEAR ON THE
SAME SHEET OF PAPER.
- Mail the form, with a check for
$85 ($80 if you sign up before Jan 1st) payable to Alto Velo, to:

- Note - The waiver form has changed slightly
this year. By signing the form you are acknowledging that you will
volunteer for at least one specific club activity; e.g. Pescadero Road Race, Annual
Banquet, Summer Picnic, coordinating club orders, etc.
- Note that contrary to previous years, the membership form only has 1 page,
because clothing will be ordered directly from the manufacturer, Voler. Instructions
how to order clothing are contained in the membership verification email
that will be sent to you upon receipt of your membership application.
Your signature on the waiver and your payment are required.
Hence, it isn't possible to join Alto Velo via e-mail.
NOTE: Annual dues include one complimentary club jersey. See the
table below for clothing delivery dates for the 2010 season. If you
join after the final order deadline, you will receive a clothing credit
for the following year – this is because all clothing is made to order
and we maintain very little stock. A wide range of additional club
clothing is available.
